A lot of the rules that are that are associated with essays, particularly narrative ones, also apply to the second type of essay, which I’ll call expository. Expository essays, as their name implies, are written to support or clarify an argument. Expository essays, similar to narrative essays, are centered on a particular topic. They support or clarify an argument, provide additional information and finish with a strong, well-written conclusion. As with any type of essay, expository essays require good writing and organization skills.

The personal narrative essay is another type of essay that is very well-known. Personal narratives are essays that focus on the life of someone, typically their childhood or adolescence, and the focus of the narrative is personal experiences. This essay type is very like a memoir, except that instead of writing about a person living their life, they write about them from the point of view of the writer. Personal narratives can be quite compelling, but they require good organization, good research, and an easy conclusion. There are some common essay structure guidelines for personal narratives. They should be short, concise, and interesting and must convince the reader that your view or opinion is the right one.

The persuasive essay is one of the most well-known types of essays. However, it can also be one of the most difficult to write. Persuasive essays are written to back a position with facts and evidence. In contrast to expository essays, a persuasive essay requires you to provide strong arguments and elaborate upon those arguments. This type of essay requires knowledge of the topic and an understanding of how persuasive essay writers operate.

A mini-essay is a way to organize a series essays. A mini-essay is an essay that is composed of three to four paragraphs with only one or two ideas. These essays are commonly referred to as “bite-sized” essays. They are simple to read and rarely have a complicated thesis statement or topic. These types of essays are perfect for students who are having difficulties writing long essays, because they are easy to read and light to write.

One last way to organize essays is to break them into paragraphs. In essays paragraphs are used to tell the story. Instead of writing a long essay, break it down into short paragraphs that make an argument with conviction and end with a solid conclusion. The writer can choose to write multiple paragraphs or one to make the argument in each one more convincing.
